Whole-body Measurement
Here we would like to explain the outline of our activities to those who are thinking of supporting us from abroad.
We carry out whole-body measurements for domestic applicants only.


How to apply for a whole-body measurement

1.Requirements and Fee

  All persons who request a whole-body measurement must be:

  at least 2 years of age
  at least 80 centimeters tall
  at least 15 kilograms in weight

  For the maintenance and operation of the center we ask for the following fees:

  Children between 2 to 18 years  free
  Pregnant women          free (Please show your maternity health record book.)
  Persons over 19 years       1,000yen

2.Procedure of measurement

  Handing/receiving results of the measurement


  You can apply in three ways:
  A. Fill in the “Whole-Body Measurement Application Form” at the center.
  B. Fax or post the filled-in “Whole-Body Measurement Application Form”.
  C. You can also apply by telephone. Your name, address, telephone number,age,
   the number of applicants and gender will be requested.

  All the applicants should fill out the "Whole-Body Counting Request Form" and sign
  the agreement on the day of the measurement. Please be responsible for your request.

  The “Whole-Body Measurement Application Form”, the “Directions for Whole-Body
  Measurement” and the “Basic Policy of Personal Information Protection and Measurement
  Data” can be downloaded from our home page. All the forms are also available at the
  center, and upon your request they can be sent by fax or post.

4.Appointment notification

  We will notify you of your date of measurement soon after it is fixed. We will also give

  On the appointment day, we ask that guardians accompany non-adult examinees to the

  In the request form please write down the name and address of the representative
  applicant; we need the name, gender, height, weight and date of birth of each examinee.

  After receiving the request form, we will measure the examinee(s).

6.Measurement results

  We will hand you the results soon after the measurement is finished.


1.Clothing and Shoes

  Please wear clean and light clothes.
  If the clothes are contaminated by radioactivity they will distort the measurement.

  Please take off your shoes before the measurement. If necessary, we will also ask you to
  take off your clothes.

  Each measurement takes about 5 minutes. In some cases several measurements will
  be needed.

2.Necessary Details for Whole-Body Measurement

  Necessary details for filling out the “Whole-Body Measurement Request Form”:
  the name and address of the representative applicant;
  the name, gender, and date of birth of each examinee.

3.Guardian’s Responsibility of Accompanying Examinee(s)

  Please accompany a non-adult examinee(s) to the center on the appointment
  day even when the guardian himself/herself is not going to take the
  Whole-Body Measurement.

4.Car Park

  There is limited parking space at the center.
  Please use nearby pay parking lots when this parking lot is full.
